I got deathly sick last weekend (an oyster took me out for pretty much the entire week), so I’ve been on the mend ever since. I’m slowly trying to get back to my usual content schedule, starting with my newsletters and articles (since those feel easier to me right now than sitting in front of a camera while I’m still nauseous).
This week, I shared some tips on how to reset for work after being sick. I’d usually just jump right back into my regular routine but as a newly self-respecting, non-people-pleasing human I thought why not use this opportunity to build a “reentry routine” that feels more manageable and actually listen to what my body needs.

The camera that I haven’t put down. I finally caved and bought the DJI Osmo Pocket 3. So far it’s lived up to everyone’s raving reviews but I definitely see some downsides as well. Hit ‘reply’ and let me know if you want to see a vlog-style review on this cam!
A really nifty phone mount. Am I the only one who didn’t know that suction cups can work on any flat surface, not just glass? Or have they completely changed how suction cups work? Either way, this magnetic/suction mount has by far been the most useful mount tool I’ve tried in a long time. It’ll suction to anything—the wall, a door, my fridge, my desk—and then the other side just as a strong magnetic mount for your phone.
That’s all for this week as I slowly get back to feeling like a human again. I’ll see you next sunday!
