I’m all for staring out the window to give your eyes a break from screens but sometimes I do also want to have more productive breaks. I recently started to implement 2x10 blocks, following the 2-minute rule.
The 2-minute rule comes from David Allen’s book Getting Things Done, a book that totally changed how I see task and time management. I usually try to focus on tasks that I know I like to postpone but can derail my day if I just randomly do them throughout my day. Having the 2x10 blocks makes doing them feel more intentional and also helps me check out of a few of them at a time. Let me know if you end up trying this!

A tool that helps with stress. I actually learned about these red light panels from my friend’s mom. I’ve known about the skin benefits of red light therapy for a while but I’ve been amazed to learn it’s other benefits as well. Red light therapy has been shown to help reduce inflammation, improve sleep quality, and boost energy levels. I’ve been using this during my morning meditation and have been really enjoying it!
