What I track in my Notion & journal to stay organized

I talk about Notion all the time in my content but what do I actually use it for? Well, everything actually. I usually just show my work dashboard because that’s the most relevant for my YouTube channel so today I thought I’d share a few more dashboards pertaining to personal growth and goal setting!

Alongside Notion, my journal comes in second place when it comes to ‘tools I use the most for planning’. So here’s a run down:

At the end of every month I’ll write out a review of how the past month has been. I’ll record

  • things I was grateful for
  • what went well
  • what could’ve gone better
  • and a wheel of life evaluation

Then I’ll start mapping out the next month. Here I’ll write

  • ins and outs for the month
  • intentions for the month

Once this is done, I’ll dive into Notion and start planning, in detail, what my monthly goals are. On a larger scale, I’ll first plan out my year in quarters via the OKR method.

Once I have a rough idea of what I’m trying to achieve throughout the year, I also have a monthly planner that I keep super simple and it’s just a checklist of the goals I want to achieve that month. I have this page pinned as a ‘favorite’ on Notion so that I can review it weekly to make sure I’m staying on track.

Some other pages from my Notion that I love are:

  • my recipes database
  • weekly meal planning page
  • reading log
  • writing dashboard

Two more things

Back on my habit tracking game. I've been thinking about starting 75 Soft as a way to build more discipline during Q2 and get my healthy habits back on track. I redownloaded Continuo, a habit tracking app that I've been using on and off for a few years. It's super minimalistic and visually beautiful. Definitely give it a try if you're looking for a new, easy-to-use tracker.

A great bookmarking tool. I recently discovered DoMarks which is such a simple bookmarking tool that syncs across all your iCloud-connected devices with no account. It also keeps track of your bookmarks in a to-do list format so you can check off the pieces of content or webpages that you've gone back to read.

We're getting back on track with Feel Good Sundays! Hit 'reply' and let me know what content you want to see next. It'll help me a bunch. (Plus I love hearing from you!)
